Методика наблюдений проста: регулярно (например, раз в ночь или уж как получится ;)) делаем один или несколько (чтобы потом сложить) глубоких снимков для оценки блеска звезды, ждём вспышки.

V336 Per - Это потенциально самый интересный объект - кандидат в звезды типа WZ Стрелы.  Из 647 звезд каталога Риттера и Колба версии 7.7 таких всего 25, из них только 16 подтвержденных и 9 под вопросом.  V336 Per есть в программе AAVSO, в их базе данных 1523 наблюдения и ни одной вспышки.  По каталогу USNO-A2.0 блеск R=18.0, B=19.2, при этом звезда явно переменная и в минимуме.  Об этом говорит и цвет на Паломарских снимках, и интервал переменности по данным ОКПЗ (14.3 - <20.), и разброс наблюдений на AAVSO (от 17.8 до 19.2 в чистом фильтре)!  То есть в системе возможно есть затмения.  Конечно, на 35 см кривую блеска в минимуме скорее всего не пропишешь.  Но вспышка может произойти в любое время - похоже, ее не было уже лет ***дцать, и если это действительно звезда типа UGWZ, то она вот-вот "созреет".  Тем не менее, в среднем такие звезды вспыхивают раз в 8000-10000 дней, поэтому надо понимать, что более 99% наблюдений дадут отрицательный результат.  Именно поэтому нужно мониторить сразу несколько звезд, включая более часто вспыхивающие.
