(Astrotel obs., KSU) report the discovery of an apparent supernova
(mag approximately 18.4) on five unfiltered images with an
exposure of 300 sec. (lim mag 21.0) obtained on feb. 13.76 UT
with the Takahashi FRC-300 (D=300mm, F=2330mm) + CCD Apogee Alta U9000 at
Kazan State University Astrotel observatory (Karachay-Cherkessia,
Russia, MPCCOD: 114). The new object is located at R.A. =
08h58m155s.88 +/- 0".1, Decl. = +23d03'42".4 +/- 0".1 (equinox
2000.0), which is about 3,2" west and 1,3" north of the center of
SDSS J085856.01+230341.0 galaxy (R.A. = 08h58m56.01s, Decl = +23d03'41".1).
Nothing is visible at this position on the Palomar Sky Survey (POSS-II red)
obtained 1993-03-22 (via the Digitized Sky Survey; limiting mag 21.0) and on
