Что я могу рассказать про этого лихого скакуна ;)
В на ближайшие месяца он является рекордсменом среди сближающихся астероидов с Землей, что известны на данный день, скорее всего откроют и ближе, но заранее предсказать где они будут - нельзя!

Мы видим, что он имеет абс. зв. вел. 19.1m, что соответствует диаметру около 400м (см. тут: http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/iau/lists/Sizes.html )
Минимальное расстояние между орбитами астероида и Земли составляет 0.0017949 а.е. , что в 2 раза меньше расстояния на котором промчит от нас астероид (скорее всего=0.0028921а.е., минимально возможное= 0.0028898а.е.)

Да, согласно эфемериде HORIZONS, в ночь с 3 на 4 июля 2004 XP14 можно отследить визуально в инструменты от 150 мм и выше. Было бы ясно.

Только что пересчитал на сайте http://unicorn.eis.uva.es/cgi-bin/neodys/neoibo?objects:2004XP14;ephpred эфемериды астероида и выяснил, что максимальная ошибка эфемерид сейчас составляет 1 угловую минуту, а угол расхождения на РТ-70 3.5 угловые минуты! :D
